I live in Villages at Berwick and am really disappointed to discover that we're expected to pay amenity fees for amenities that do NOT exist. I don't think it's right that every household in this subdivision is expected to pay $1 a day for absolutely nothing in return. I don't mind paying for amenities when they exist, but until then, I refuse to pay a cent!

I also live in Villages at Berwick and completely agree with the amenities’ issue. What is being done with the money that has been collected? My other question is, when are the covenants going to start being enforced? We specifically picked this community because it did have standards of appearance according to the covenants.

Tonight there was a community meeting and I was rather annoyed with the young lady who, according to her, was the real eastate agent representing the community. She was rude and condesending to the home owners attending the meeting. I am concerned, as are other home owners, as to the described location for the aminities that where promised by the agents and the realtors that sold all of us our homes. Chapel Lake is 1/2 a mile from The Villages at Berwick and they are not for this community. The best comment from the community representative was that the "Show Home" was better than anything that we can get here. Which leads me to believe that this community developer is selling a lie to there future customers. The developer of this community needs to explain himself and "come out of hiding" direct quote from the so called rep. It might be time for the home owners to get together and seek legal representation. Then maybe we will get what we where promised.

Thanks
A concerned home owner.

I AM A HOME OWNER IN THE VILLAGES AT BERWICK AND FEEL THE SAME WAY EVERYONE ELSE DOES. WE PAY FOR IMMENITIES THAT WE NEVER SEE HAPPEN. THE GREEN AREAS ARE FULL OF WEEDS, THE LAGOON JUST GOT CUT AFTER LOOKING LIKE CRAP FOR ALONG TIME, THE CUL-DE-SAC WAS PLANTED WITH CRAPPY STUFF. WE ALSO FEEL THAT WE SHOULDN'T HAVE TO SHARE A COMMUNITY POOL WITH ANOTHER COMMUNITY. EACH SUBDIVISION SHOULD HAVE THEIR OWN POOL AND RECREATION AREA. WE ALSO FEEL THAT OUR LAGOON SHOULD HAVE A FOUNTAIN AT BOTH ENDS OF THE LAGOON TO KEEP THE WATER FROM BEING STAGNENT. IF YOU WANT TO MAYBE ALL OF THE TWO COMMUNITIES SHOULD GET TOGETHER AND DISCUSS OUR COMPLAINTS AND HOPEFULLY START GETTING WHAT WE PAY FOR. I WILL GET A LIST STARTED AND PASS IT AROUND THE COMMUNITIES TO SEE HOW MANY PEOPLE WILL ATTEND THE MEETING.

Does someone have a calendar of when we will be meeting for homeowner's meetings for the Villiages @ Berwick? I haven't recieved anything by mail or any notification of the meeting and my husband and I would like to start attending. Thanks, Mandy!

Does anyone have any feelings on the new church going in. The project manager is telling people that we should all just be happy that they are investing 60 million dollars into the community. I foresee lots of additional traffic and they are tearing up the bike paths by driving on them (Berwick pays to maintain them) but no true benefit to residents. I have no problems with them building there but they could be a little less invasive. I guess I just don't want a Mega Church to come in and start pushing the communities around even though we were here first. They should have to abide by the same rules we do.
